30.06.16 – It is a milestone, as it is the first and only scientific publication on a technology aimed at protecting from electromagnetic radiation.
The scientific journal European Journal of Integrative Medicine has published a paper on the research carried out by the Center for Biomedical Research at the University of Granada (Research Group CTS-101: “Intercellular Communication”) on the effectiveness of the technology developed and patented by Pranan Technologies to neutralize the harmful effects on the body of electromagnetic radiation (mobile telephony, WiFi, cordless phones, telephone aerials).
The paper has finally been accepted for publication following several months of assessment, study and “peer review” (the method used to validate scientific papers in order to evaluate their quality, originality, feasibility, and scientific rigor prior to publication) by the publishers and editorial board of the “European Journal of Integrative Medicine”, an assessment team that includes scientists and professors from such prestigious Universities as the Faculty of Medicine at Georgetown University (USA), the Karolinska Institutet (Sweden), the University of Technology Sydney (Australia), or the University of Southampton (UK), among many others.
The biochemical study, conducted by a team of scientists led by Darío Acuña and Germaine Escames, analyzes the indicators that are most affected by electromagnetic pollution in the body, such as cortisol, melatonin, lipid peroxidation, nitric oxide, pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines, and glutathione peroxidase.
The results of the analysis of these indicators were conclusive, as explained in the conclusions of the afore-cited article. The authors declare:“We have demonstrated that the use of specific devices (produced by Pranan Technologies) significantly reduced oxidation and states of inflammation in a group of normal subjects who were exposed to ambient EMF (electromagnetic fields) and to the regular use of the cell phones” and they went on to say that: “our results suggest that the devices tested here may protect against EMF by rectifying harmful electromagnetic forces to maintain the health of the organism”..
Pranan technology, developed on the basis of nanoparticles (EMF conductors and semiconductors), is also backed by research at the Faculty of Medicine of the Complutense University of Madrid and the Department of Applied Physics of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. It is the only technology that complies with European Directive 2001/95/EC, which ensures that all requirements from the point of view of safety are fulfilled prior to marketing.
