THE “BEFORE AND AFTER”
In the graphs and illustrations, you can see the “before” and “after” of using or not using Pranan technology when a person is subjected to electromagnetic radiation (e.g. talking on a mobile phone, Wi-Fi, ...). To do so, we have chosen a number of graphs and illustrations from the research studies carried out by various Research Centres and Universities. This visual method helps the reader to understand the effect of these devices more clearly.
Los Campos Electromagnéticos
Living beings have been subjected to natural magnetic influences for millions of years. In fact, the Earth is surrounded by a magnetic field that changes its intensity when solar storms occur. These magnetic influences have probably had and still have an influence on various biological functions of the organism. Furthermore, they used to form a balance with the planet’s eco-systems. However, in recent decades, technological developments have led to a proliferation of sources that emit artificial electromagnetic radiation, which results in a new type of pollution.
Nowadays, we are living in an electromagnetically-polluted environment, surrounded by electrical appliances, computers, cordless telephones, telephone antennas, mobiles, Wi-Fi waves, radars, etc.
This situation has caused certain concern in society. That is why many scientists and international organisations warn about the biological effects that those emissions may have on people. EU authorities have therefore urged Member States to apply the principle of precaution until science can determine whether there exists any risk to health.
Here you can see a scientific paper by Dr. Dario Acuña Castroviejo (Professor of Physiology at the University of Granada and co-editor of the Journal of Pineal Research, the leading international scientific journal in the field of melatonin), in which he explains what electromagnetic fields are and how we are affected by electromagnetic pollution in our daily routines. The BioInitiative Working Group concluded in 2007 that existing public safety limits were inadequate to protect public health, and agreed that new, biologically-based public safety limits were needed five years ago. The BioInitiative Report was been prepared by more than a dozen world-recognized experts in science and public health policy; and outside reviewers also contributed valuable content and perspective. What has changed in 2012? In twenty-four technical chapters, the contributing authors discuss the content and implications of about 1800 new studies.
With the advent of this proposal, San Francisco is considering converting the city into a wireless zone. Whatever decision is made should be based on the best available scientific evidence. Wi-Fi simply has not been around long enough to know how these particular frequencies and intensities are likely to affect people who are exposed to them on a daily basis for years at a time. San Francisco is on the forefront of a large population study with some unwilling participants.
This study is concerned with assessing the role of exposure to radio frequency radiation (RFR) emitted either from mobiles or base stations and its relations with human's hormone profiles.
Cellphones and Brain Tumors: 15 Reasons for Concern has been prepared to enable balanced reporting on this important subject. It provides information on scientific findings from studies on the risk of brain tumors from cellphone use. It includes studies independent of industry funding as well as telecommunications industry funded studies. Further, it includes background information on the soon to be published Telecom-funded Interphone study.
Humankind is at the most important crossroads between environmental influences and health that it has ever faced. History is replete with examples where health hazards demonstrating an association with an external, controllable exposure have been raised based on what seemed, at the time to be unconvincing and inadequate scientific study, only years later to become well recognized triggers for disease, robbing thousands of people of their lives or compromising the quality of the lives of those exposed.
